Core English Class

Students will develop skills in reading and comprehension, identifying and appreciating various genres, developing an understanding of literary elements,  interpreting literature, and recognizing and producing different types of writing. Additional skills will include proofreading, vocabulary and spelling, sentence structure and grammar, library usage, research skills, public speaking, media influence and analysis, cooperative learning, and class participation.
