Elective A/B Class Prerequisite(s): FaCS I and instructor approval

This course covers a variety of small business topics from rights & responsibilities to obtaining a job.  Students spend the first part of the semester learning business terms, marketing, budgeting, and advertising.  The second part of the semester is spent building an in school business in a small group. Students will each contribute money to starting their business and will then keep track of their spending and earning through Quicken.  At the end of the year, they will receive a check for their portion of the earnings. This class requires students to be dedicated and self motivated. No students with attendance or behavior issues will be accepted into this class.
