Band

Length of Class: Year (both 1st & 2nd semesters)

Grade Level(s): 7th and 8th Grade

Elective A/B Class

Band is an introductory level performing course where students develop skills in large ensemble playing by exploring traditional and contemporary band literature. Beginners need director approval as previous instrumental experience is expected.  All members of the band are expected to perform in scheduled concerts as well as participate in marching and possibly other group performances
