Band Percussions

Length of Class: Year (both 1st & 2nd semesters)

Grade Level(s): 7th and 8th Grade

Elective A/B Class - Prerequisite(s): Previous band experience with director approval

Students in percussion class will develop introductory skills in performing percussion techniques, using many different traditional drum or percussion instruments .  This class will support our larger marching group as drummers and perform with our regular band in concerts. Members will also perform independently as a percussion ensemble at concerts.  Previous instrumental experience is not required but recommended. Should interest exceeds available positions director may have students audition.
