Core Mathematics Class Prerequisite(s): Math 7, MAP score of 245 and  teacher recommendation

This is the same course work taught in High school Algebra for freshman. Skills will be developed in operations with real numbers, simplifying algebraic expressions, solving equations and inequalities in one variable, operations with sets, solving systems of equations in two variables, graphing, solving word problems, operations with polynomials and radicals, solving the quadratic equation and solving equations with absolute.
