Math Counts

Length of Class: Year (both 1st & 2nd semesters)

Grade Level(s): 7th or 8th Grade

Elective A/B Class

Coursework is a rigorous program of all strands of curriculum  of which problems are taken from the Mathcounts website. https://www.mathcounts.org/programs/competition-series/past-competitions. Students compete within the school against each other, then once determined who are the top 10, compete at the chapter level individually and as a team.  If successful the students will compete at the state level individually and or as a team. If a student is successful and makes the top 4 in the state, they will become part of a Montana team and compete nationally.
